This suite was absolutely stunning and a feast for the eyes. The four-poster bed and spacious bathroom with a steam shower and whirlpool bath made us feel like royalty. We couldn't have asked for more luxury during our stay.
The only thing we didn't love was the coffee/tea set in the room. It didn't quite meet our personal taste, but others may still find enjoyment in it.

a sumptuous room and enormous comfortable bed
full length net curtains in the bathroom would provide more privacy than just the roll down blind currently affords

The room was clean and spacious, with well-maintained furniture. Convenient parking and widely recognized location. Guests have access to pool, sauna, and gym facilities at another nearby venue. Enjoyable stay, highly recommend.

It was a beautiful building with kind and helpful staff and the food in the restaurant was to "die for!"
I felt that the modern art in the grounds were not in keeping with the building and setting

Enjoyed the beautiful castle room with a garden view. The bathtub with bubbles and the large rain shower were highlights. appreciated the upgrade to a deluxe room. The location was perfect for a romantic escape, with the peaceful surroundings adding to the charm. Best thing was the delicious food and excellent service. The arrangement including 2 dinners was a great bonus. Food and service exceeded expectations. A beautiful escape in a convenient location.
Disliked the lack of cleanliness in the room. The used hand towels were not replaced and the trash bin was not emptied.

The diningroom, The comfortable Castel luxury room. Personel extremely nice and ofcourse the "lastminute" price for the booking and an upgrade for 15 euros per night.
For years they have the policy to pay for your internet minutes. I think that in this time it should be free of charge as it is in so many other hotels. (Free Wifi) Breakfast of 15.50 euro is rather expensive, which we have not taken. I don't need smoked salmon early in the morning..

The historic building, stunning interior, beautiful gardens, professional and friendly staff, luxurious rooms, great breakfast.
There was nothing I didn't like.

We were given a very large comfortable "standard" room (perhaps because we were staying 5 nights, but it was quiet and clean.
Shower needed a good scrub and / or re-grouting.

As young people, we loved the exceptional leisure experience and extraordinary nice and professional personnel. The free parking and room upgrade were a great bonus. The location was conveniently close to Aachen City Centre and there were plenty of restaurants and places to see nearby. The room was amazing, with a beautiful view of the garden and fountains. The interior was stylish and all essentials were provided.
Felt very at home, no reason to complain.

Staying in an old castle surrounded by nature and close to Aachen is certainly a unique experience. You can expect a real 5-star feel inside with recently redecorated rooms, comfortable beds, and a nice view of the garden. The free parking is convenient, and the personnel is friendly, especially the receptionist. You can relax in a genuine palace with wifi, tea/coffee facilities, and excellent dinner service at a very reasonable price.
Despite the pretty surroundings, the bathroom light can be annoying, and, at times, the room may have a strange smell of smoke coming from previous guests.
